More Than Ten Meetings to Be Held

At the invitation of Jean-Claude Gaudin, Vice President of the French Senate, the delegation headed by Artur Baghdasaryan, RA NA President will be in France on April 22-25.

During the visit meetings are envisaged in Paris and Marseilles with Christian Poncelet, President of the French Senate, Jean-Claude Gaudin, Vice President of the French Senate, Mayor of Marseilles, Pierre Lellouche NATO PA President, Koichiro Matsuura, UNESCO General Secretary, Renaud Muselier, State Secretary for French Foreign Affairs and members of the Armenian community.

On April 24 in Marseilles the delegation will participate at the opening of the memorial to the memory of the Genocide victims.

From France Artur Baghdasaryan, Parliament President will leave for Saint Petersburg, where on April 26-27 he will participate in the celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the State Duma of the Russian Federation (RF). Within the framework of RF working visit the RA NA President will have meetings with Rene van der Linden, President of the Council of Europe, Boris Gryzlov, Chairman of RF State Duma, Sergey Mironov, Chairman of the RF Federal Assembly Federal Council, Ogtay Asadov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Milli Majlis, Alcee L. Hastings, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President. As President of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly, Artur Baghdasaryan will sign an agreement with Eurasian Economic Community.
